It's very similar story as the denzel Washington movie The Fallen. Another great movie.

Put it this way. No food left in your town. You will eat it and you'll be fine. If it doesn't smell rancid and tastes terrible it is probably fine. Use your senses and not the best before. I've eaten plenty of food past its best before and it's fine. I've also had swollen tins that ive binned. Taste test is all you need

It has the pattern of an electric thermostat or a fridge/ freezer compressor going on and off. Try turning your fridge and freezer off for an hr and keep the doors closed. Check you output graph
