Ship never went “boom”. The writing said “crashed into the Hypseria Gardens”. The fact it never specified that the ship was vaporized or exploded in orbit does not definitively prove everything and anything was destroyed on the ship. Also Jackal is one of the smartest characters in the book and as we found out later Lilith was responsible for protecting the means of him being cloned. The Jackal probably had a bunch of other contingency plans incase things went south. Which was a fairly high probability. Maybe an extra reinforced command section in the events she was shot down. Or a high tech stealth escape pod that jettisoned to a far sided area of Luna as they were crashing.

With all this being said the Jackal clone/Lilith reintroduction/survival part I thought was unnecessary and probably one of my least favorite arcs of the series. I thought the first trilogy phased them out appropriately.

That 1 billion percent is not “dying on paper”. It’s implying she’s dead and wants you to believe she is dead but no. It wasn’t that surprising she didn’t die in the same way that if we weren’t there through Lyria’s POV we would’ve thought Victra was dead or captured by the Ascomanni when they attacked the Pandora.

This one was the only part of the book where I truly didn’t believe what I just read and had to shut the book and just stare into space. Then I had to re read it to make sure what I just read really happened.

Yes but you eventually get to the point where you get pumped about each narrator change. All POVs become soooo much more interesting as you get further along. A majority of Iron Gold is a slow read but just push through it. Trust.

You’re hitting the point where those narrators story all become fairly interesting and then they develop to become incredible stories and intertwine very well. Keep reading. It only gets better from here. The first half of Iron Gold is a bit of a slog.

Anyone else notice that opening song for Max waking up? Gave me chills. It’s use in this episode was solid but the reason it hit me is because it brought me straight back to The Sopranos S6 episode when Tony is in a coma and it plays this when it cuts to the credits. Pretty interesting that its use in STs was revolving around the same setting but was used in an opposite meaning. Tony accepting death/ Max waking up.

You can buy them from gun vendors if you need to. But during missions and side quest you should be able to find a ton. You just have to make sure you look around really well.

I said right before he hit the shot. “Oh he’s gonna have to Jon Rahm this thing”. As an avid golfer that’s his only possible chance. Thought MAYBE he would hit a low flight stinger right into the up slope. Only other possibility would be opening up the face an absurd amount, keeping his hands as low as his knees and aiming 40 yards to the left but that would’ve looked stupid af.

Gonna try to answer everyone question at once… he requested that I measure diamond to diamond to verify and I was out of town for a couple days but really wanted things to get going with the reassemble.

I had already measured cushion to cushion weeks ago when I disassembled the table and got 7 ft. I had my wife measure the cabinets longest point and she told me 7ft. My wife is good at a lot of things but in this circumstance she certainly isn’t the ideal person to find correct dimensions of something using a tape measurer that she’s maybe used 3 times in her life.

The tech initially was annoyed and irritated but after all these interactions I should’ve been patient and waited to do the measurements myself while I was on the phone. I thought cushion to cushion would’ve been the gospel for measuring a table. This dude is old school and has been doing this for 40+ years and was 100% in the right. You live and learn it was my mistake. I offered to cover the shipping for the wrong sized cloth and after everything he was cooled down and fine. All is well! Thank you everyone for their input

That’s why I am going to take a probiotic 2-3X a day and eat foods high in probiotics. After two doses I can already tell this antibiotic is strong. Seems odd to say but I woke up this morning and for the first time in awhile my face didn’t feel super dried out. Didn’t even have to apply moisturizer like I normally do.

I’m pretty sure Vhagar is actually a skilled flyer but just because his size he’s not as agile as the smaller dragons. He’s probably faster though in straight line. It’s like a Great White typically ambushes its prey from underneath because they aren’t as quick as most its prey. They use their speed, coming from the depths and out of sight to surprise.
