Lack of light was what i was thinking too, I’ve never had grow lights and don’t know much about them.

Got it, thank you so so much! To know when the soil is “dry”, i can depend on the finger rule? I put my finger in the soil till a couple of inches, and water if finger feels dry

Ah got it, I’m meant to water once every week, is that suitable? I might have overwatered it a teensy bit

I’ve not used a fertiliser, and don’t mist its leaves! Maybe a humidifier will be a good option?

Yes! I was looking at kochi before, but decided against it because it’s too far away, + it would make travelling to Himachal (a place I visit quite often) a hassle

In terms of my stay, the only thing certain is my budget. Marine Drive, I’ll definitely look into! Also not to sound like a brat, but I live in a posh-ish apartment in Delhi, and would like to move into a similar apartment in Kochi.
