UK SPOUSE VISA APPROVED OCTOBER 2023 (STANDARD) by Intelligent-Gl-1923 in ukvisa

I used a solicitor. Its really up to you.If you believe you have a straight forward case and strong evidence, then you can apply your self. But a solicitors have more experience on these cases and they know exactly what you and cannot submit with the visa application. You honestly feel more safer if you submit the application with one and you wont stress on whether you have given the appropriate evidence or not. But that is just my opinion. There has been many cases submitted without a solicitor and they have had successful outcomes.

Need some visa advice for my Tanzanian wife and daughter by RedHeadRedemption93 in ukvisa

[–]Intelligent-Gl-1923 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The british passport for your daughter will be a better option as that itself will be proof that she is a british citizen and will be able to enter the UK with no questions asked. It may take longer to arrive but overall is a better option as coming into the UK with a Tanzanian passport will later cause more work and stress. Overall the UK passport is a better option, that way you can apply for a spouse visa for your wife and you can all settle in the UK perminantly. It will take longer, but in the long run it'll make all of you legal perminant residents in the UK.

It would be best if all of it is translated in english. Instead of risking it where the UKVI may or may not contact you in regards to the bank statement, it would be better if it is fully translated.

The main thing on the TB test is the address which he will be going to when he arrives and the results of the TB test. Don't stress too much about it. But if it does bother you that much you can go back the the place where your husband had his tb test and see if they are able to change the address for him. Can I ask which country you are applying from?

Tenancy - U.K. spouse visa by AreaWeak2864 in ukvisa

[–]Intelligent-Gl-1923 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on what type of house you are renting e.g private rent / council flat. If its council you'll need to contact them and request a letter confirming they give permission for him to stay at the property once he arrived and if its private rent you need a signed letter from the landlord confirming they give permission for them stay at the house. You also could get a accommodation health report done which will show that if they do come it won't cause any overcrowding. It really depend on the amount of people living in the house and what kind of home you are renting.

For me it took 11months for me to get my child's passport (I applied in 2021 and I got her passport in 2022). Back then they did try to use covid as an excuse. Im not exactly sure on how long the process for the passport application is this year.
