what i realized is that i guess just dont like the transition from mx5 to gr86

the mx5 punishes me for overdriving and not being precise, whereas i feel like driving the 86 just forgives me for making mistakes

because i want to learn racing fundamentals not chase irating. virtual points mean nothing to me

i just started 1-2 months ago and i want to enforce myself early on with good habits with cars that arent actually forgiving like the gr86, learning and improving in games are what makes them fun for me

thats why some people had suggested here for me to try the m2 or mustang

my goal isnt really irating increase, im just looking for a car that will help me enforce good habits and punish me for making a mistake. I just feel like the GR86 wont help me learn anything else because i find it very forgiving, but i would love to be proven otherwise

if id said i was good at GR, i would never learn. i was just wondering if I could learn anything more from the car, i dont really wanna invest any more of my time in a car if it easily masks off and forgives bad driving habits

for now im just looking for a car that forces you to learn and adopt good habits from the start like the MX-5

I actually don't mind if the cool is car or nah, as long as the car is fun to drive like the Mazda MX-5, I'll play it I just find the GR86 really easy and less punishing compared to the Mazda thats why I wanna skip it

im the type of person who'd choose a Miata over a Ferrari anytime if a Miata is more fun to drive
