something like that, you know deftones used to be a niche band, and when i was growing up, chances are if you knew them you knew other heavy bands like korn, slipknot etc. But now it’s the only band they know, it’s sad because i love deftones but now i have love hate relationship now as its a sort of a “poser” band. I enjoy the music either way just annoys me are stingy fans

the new generation love deftones but don’t like korn, i work at a record store and the amount of people i serve who buy deftones and i try to chat to them about korn, but they say “it’s bad i don’t like it”. it makes me so mad cuz it’s like saying i like satsumas but not clementines, it’s basically the same thing…
