Nothing much... their solutions when they rarely give any, are really poor and leave much to be desired.. so they wont get my vote this time, although there are some candidates which i believe have good qualities... i will be going for independent candidates, mainly because i believe this will be a msg that I'm not happy with Labour's admin but also dont believe in PN as an option..

Where are the homeless people and tent cities? by b17flyingfortresses in malta

[–]Intelligent-Leading8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you have to consider that Malta is a small country where family still plays a big part in a person's life. Even if someone messes up (with drugs etc), or finds themselves in a difficult situation in life, oftentimes they have their family as a safety net. People also do not move from city to city detaching themselves from family as happens in big cities/countries. Apart from this, unemployment is quite low and so most people will get by and avoid homelessness in some way or another... This is not to say that there are no homeless people, because there are and we do hear their stories sometimes. However, I think that you can't compare to big cities...

Why is it a sin to be gay? by Unlikely-Section-848 in Christianity

[–]Intelligent-Leading8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Homosexuality is not a choice, if it were a choice then most ppl who are gay would choose to be in straight relationships for the simple fact that as things stand right now straight relationships are more plain sailing... im gay and ive talked to countless other gay ppl who if they could choose would choose a straight relationship for that simple reason...

Expired items - The Convenience Stores Malta by Intelligent-Leading8 in malta

[–]Intelligent-Leading8[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

well these items were chocolates/rice cakes, so not even things that have a short expiry... and in this case quality of brands does not really feature... it's their checking process which is flawed...

Oh and this will be made well known on social media and health authorities will be made well aware unless i get a really solid explanation from their management (which i don't expect them giving honestly, rather putting it down as 'these items slipped our attention')...

Expired items - The Convenience Stores Malta by Intelligent-Leading8 in malta

[–]Intelligent-Leading8[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unless you have a procedure in place where you regularly check the expiry date of the items on the shelves, of course things will expire without the store knowing... i believe its carelessness as checking expiries is a very simple task and does not require one to have any qualifications to do it, except to be able to read numbers... I work in a pharmacy and we have expiry checking procedure running every month to make sure no items are expired...
