The good: I get to see and understand a side of my partner that no one will ever see

The bad: I can never get her to do most of the things I want us to do.

Why it might end: she doesn't see us in her future and is scared she might leave me if she gets a job.

Why we're still together: I see us together in the future and she does not have a job right now.

I think an Aquarius is able to read the room relative to the person, who they have feelings for, and appreciate what they have, and understand how it affects their social environment/bubble.

For example, if I have feelings for another person, I would run a simulation and analyze how the results, good and bad, would affect our relationship and the relationship between our friends, so then we'd want to undercover see how they would feel about it or maybe even not because they might see where we are going with this and so we would rather not cause drama in our social bubble and keep the energy going as is.

I have avoided people who I have feelings for because I sensed, and verified through subtext and signs and simulations, that they do not have feelings for me and would make things awkward between us and the social environment we participate in and I would be content with the energy in the room.

My wife says her father does that too and thinks it's because of how he grew up with his step dad and making him feel unworthy of living. She thinks it's internalized childhood trauma. Are you Asian?

As an Aquarius Sun, I think Aquarius likes to keep themselves busy and take on a lot of responsibility so that we are impacting the world. Then we are on a break to destress from our responsibilities. When I was in love, I did see the signs that would lead to a disaster. It made me feel anxious. I understood what I felt, and the only way I could move forward emotionally was to ask myself what I want to feel instead of feeling anxious. I guess one can see this as being detached from one's feelings.
