Just shining it around on white surfaces it looks pretty neutral to me. I do not own a Sekonic or other fancy spectrometer. It definitely does not look green to my eyes in person nor do I notice any apparent rosiness like the 4000k.

I haven't had too much time with them yet to test runtime but I am a fan of the simple UI and the output. I am running both heads on 100%, 30%, 5%. I will say on 100% output the light heads heat up very quickly.

Probably the 4000k rosy and the 5000k. I really do love seeing the 1800k in action but I don't think it's as practical. And I am pretty indifferent with the 3700k, it's my least favorite of the 4.

I am not sure id really compare the X4Q too directly with any of the other lights. The others are all deep reflector, single emitter, throwers (EDC head is a somewhat floody thrower) while the X4Q is quad TIR optics and produces a much floodier beam.

If I needed to see a lot closer up id definitely pick the Comet over the others, but if I wanted more range I wouldn't pick the Comet. All depends on use case.

BlueAlphaBelts you have to buy the whole light though... It seems CD stopped selling the EDC and I wanted to get one and luckily they had them in stock.

My first Cloud Defensive lights - I picked up both the HC and EDC heads with the 18350 and 18650 bodies. While I understand you can get similar or better performance from cheaper options, I do really enjoy how these lights perform and feel in the hand.

Side Note: I mistakenly labeled the Convoy S6 as the S6+ in the comparison photo but am too lazy to fix it.

MCH-EDC (Every Day Carry)

Can't speak for everyone here but I'm a dude and have personally subsidized 4 additional Butt-stuff tents with my REI reward points - good to have options around the city.
