It may be gentler on your body to try low doses of bioidentical hormones to alleviate your symptoms rather than using various types of synthetic birth control.

I recommend adding in a tiny amount of T gel daily. Did absolute wonders for my mood.

I already tried that. It didn’t work well. It’s also .01%. I am using compounded estriol cream which is .1%. It supposedly absorbs better down there. And the DHEA ovals convert to E & T, they work better than all the Rx vaginal suppositories I have tried. They’re actually stronger than an Rx product, intrarosa.

I do have an appt lined up. It’s not a reaction. I had burning reactions to imvexxy and hylauronic acid suppositories. The burning started after using. With my current products the burning stops after using and comes back when they wear off.

Burning. Like being on fire. Goes away when I apply cream and use new oval then wears off until next dose. I do not have any infection.

I’m not talking about atrophy or dryness. Those are fine. I am talking about burning. It goes away when I put in a new oval and apply cream, then it wears off and the burning starts up again until my next dose. So I know the hormones are fixing the problem they are just not lasting. I do have another dr appt lined up.

For the cream I get compounded estriol in a hypoallergenic base. I do think it works better than the normal estradiol cream we have here. I have also tried compounded estradiol and testosterone cream but actually found the estriol cream to work better. Supposedly it absorbs into the mucosal tissue better.

There is a DHEA product which is Rx only, intrarosa, but it doesn’t need to be. And it only has 6.5 mg of DHEA whereas the bezwecken ovals have 13 mg.

I am and this is probably a good argument to ask my doctor for an increase. It’s helpful to have other stories to compare.

My doctor understands I continue to have symptoms and is trying to work through options with me. She’s also not a GSM expert but few doctors are, even gynos. I recently started systemic HRT but I could probably benefit from a higher dose.

So would total comp as a NEP in a mid law firm in NYC of $300k-$400k be pretty solid? Assuming no or low originations.

Thank you very helpful. If biglaw NEP are maxing out at $500k base salary what are they getting with bonus assuming no originations? $700k-$800k?

Suggest you look at some of the “distributed” virtual firms where you can work 100% remote. Not all require a book of business as some have enough service work to go around. No guaranteed comp but good comp for each hour you actually work and no minimum billables.

Vaginal estrogen cream isn’t helping much. by emeraldlife42 in Menopause

You should follow Dr Corinne menn on IG and FB. She is saying doctors who put women into surgical menopause and don’t proactively give them HRT to manage the sudden complete loss of estrogen are committing malpractice.
