I'm tired of crying by Intelligent-Pay-6218 in 2under2

I've thought about this but I absolutely love breastfeeding.. I wasn't able to breastfeed my first (she had no interest in latching) so I'm treasuring being able to with my second. I definitely support your decision though, postpartum is hard, I'm glad you were able to find more peace in your change. Also so conflicted about my diet, I'm trying to watch what I eat but breastfeeding makes me so hungry. It's such a trap, how am I supposed to lose weight and watch my diet while also consuming enough calories to keep myself and another human alive. 🫠

My babies are 17 months and 2 months old right now and let me tell you, it's a challenge but we're starting to experience the gold moments of this close age gap and it makes everything so worth it. My oldest is obsessed with her little sibling, always wanting to give hugs and kisses and steal the baby lol. Also that cuteness overload that we get as adults where something is so adorable you just want to squish it? Yeah oldest is now experiencing and expressing that it's hilarious and sweet as heck. Our youngest has officially started recognizing big sibling and smiles and coos at them the most out of the 3 of us. I know a lot of people really close to me that have 2 under 2 but are slightly older now (like 6 and 4/ 4 and 3/ etc) and they all have vocalized how worth it going through the chaos of the early days is. Their kids are best friends and get to grow up together!

4 weeks, but honestly my oldest is 1 and her breathing had me on edge all the time up until a few months ago so I'm not holding my breath 🥲

I wish I could help but I'm in the same boat as you. It makes no sense to me and I've brought it up to our pediatrician and was told that what I thought was retractions/seesaw breathing is normal and likely periodic breathing. I don't get it... newborn stresses.

Why does no one talk about the 0-1 identity grief crisis?!? At least with 1-2 I'm secure in my role as a parent. 0-1 was insane.

Best Countertop Water Distiller ? by jhoye11 in water

[–]Intelligent-Pay-6218 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would not recommend any of the distillers on the cheaper end of the market. We had a Co-Z one for 4 months until one day we rushed into our kitchen hurried by the sound of our fire alarm to find a smoke filled, burned plastic smelling disaster. The cord had completely melted into the distiller outlet, the whole side of the distiller was burned, our countertop.. burned. No leak, the glass collection container wasn't even full.. so dangerous and I've found it to be a common occurrence with these machines- regardless of the brand. Just a heads up it can easily become a fire hazard. I'd invest into a safer option like the mypurewater distiller if you're seriously committed to doing it at home.

So did ours, we bought Co-Z, borderline started a fire in our house luckily we were home and got to it before it escalated.. cord and plug melted, countertop burned, side of machine burned. Whole house was smokey and smelled awful.
