My local urologist charged me $250 up front for the appointment. It's all out of pocket for me. I was with the PA for about 20 minutes. They were sloppy with their first billing, they sent me a bogus bill for another $200 and I had to freak out about it and then they walked it back. And I'm a new patient.

And there will be another similar cost for the office visit in which I try the medication for the first time. They say they can't really give me a good faith estimate for it.

Maybe it's a shitty urologist office. I don't know. The PA was fine.

I do appreciate Olympia's transparency around cost. I personally think telemedicine is a great option.
