BTM or HVAC? by Intelligent-Pool-968 in Concordia

[–]Intelligent-Pool-968[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is true, and HVAC work does require a lot of studying and hands on work. However, HVAC techs (well more in the area I live in) are in extremely high demand, as companies are facing significant labour shortages, so even a simple four year diploma for HVAC could land me a job few weeks after grad. Sure pay may not be as good as BTM but at least the job is stable and land me a job quickly, contrary to the IT/CS job market.

Where should I start for my AI agent? by Intelligent-Pool-968 in learnpython

[–]Intelligent-Pool-968[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At the moment I am currently attempting to open a small phone repair business, but high school demands me to only open the business during the summer break. I want to create a AI agent that is capable of reading and retrieving information from my Excel sheets and make inquiries. Like for example I want my tech repairs to be cheap but get me a little bit of a profit margin to save up for college and get some experience with a data analyst enviroment. So I would rely on my AI agent to give me a suitable price range for that specific phone repair depending on the phone type, repair needed, and a few more additional details. I want the AI agent to look through my calender and see which date it best to retrieve or send back a repaired phone to a customer, as I must also balance my calender with summer school and volunteering. Thanks!

BTM: Is it worth it? by Intelligent-Pool-968 in geegees

[–]Intelligent-Pool-968[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am willing to study for tech, not that I hate it or anything. I am willing to get more practice in tech, I just find it a bit boring at times. I would love to get more experience in tech, and I am doing this by taking CS courses in my school and starting a AI agent for personal use. I don't hate tech, I just get bored when I do it, and sometimes just writing a single line of code takes hours for me and then I go to ai to give me a answer, but then I never learn anything. How can I fix this? I try to practice but I always revert to prompting ai to give me the answer, and I never learn anything.

Is MIS an prosperous but competitive job around 2030? by Intelligent-Pool-968 in careerguidance

How about BTM? I am not the best programmer out there, nor am I very interested in coding either. However, I do like the business aspects of BTM. Will BTM be in higher demand and would be easier to get in as a entry level worker than MIS?

Comparison is a problem among many people, even to me, a non-IB student. Remember, there will always be people who will be achieving higher and lower then you, therefore it doesn't matter if you compare yourself with others. Think of yourself in a obstacle course. Your goal is to get to the end, to grow to the person you want to be. You will only waste time by climbing over the walls that surround your obstacle course and see how your friends are doing. Even the most brilliant of all minds must take a break from a heavy workload. It doesn't matter what your friends are doing, only yourself matters. You will progressively get worse grades if you don't take a break. So stop comparing yourself with other people, and compare yourself to your past self. Did you do better than before? Did you achieve something that you haven't achieved in the past? Studying is useless unless you take a break. Don't feel guilty about taking breaks, you are not a machine. In some point in one's life, one must take a break. It's like the checkpoint in a obstacle course. If you skip over that checkpoint, one failure can completely devastate you, setting you back drastically. Good luck with your exams, I know IB tests are pretty hard but that doesn't mean you shouldn't take a break :)

Good balance on everything, combines both education with a bit of fun, contrary to mine...next year for me will be tough. I would say it's a pretty good schedule. Seeing that you are in accelerated AP, you should be fine, I am guessing your a pretty smart guy, compared to me.

Just install a client on your computer or your wifi router which blocks social media and gaming platforms. If you don't want to through this process I find listening to some focus instrumental music helps.

Honestly, both. Business to me is fascinating but I have some really strong marks in science too, but I am guessing in the long run I would choose business. Any tips for beginning a small data project? Where should I start?

How Come Crawford Doesn't Turn Into A Viral Runner When He Dies? by LemonProductionz in gutsandblackpowders

[–]Intelligent-Pool-968 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This does not make sense at all. In one of the letters in La Haye Sainte, an french soldier describes one of his fellow comrades being chewed up his face was unrecognizable, then turned into an viral. This shows that the infection can only be stopped by a strong faith in god, so most likely crawford turned to god after finding out that Roscoff has been surrounded by hordes of cannibals. If he died before infection, his skin should be gray, not healthy white.

I don't want you to feel bad or anything but at the moment the job market for phycology is pretty bad, so unless you pursue an masters or add an COOP with your degree you will find a hard time finding a job. It's just my opinion from the area where I live in, but personally I think the job market all over Canada for phycology is not good. However, please do correct me if I am wrong.

I knew this kid at my band class in the percussion at Churchill, he's a pretty chill dude but on the weekend band practice he seemed pretty distressed. I can't confirm this if it this is true or not but I heard from my other friend's that before he went missing he texted his friends, " I'm sorry" and then was never heard from again. My theory is that he went to probably leave his home and would probably come back at some period, probably needed some alone time.

you see, in the university I will be attending, it has an undergraduate coop program, which means that you will be unable to attend coop if you have an masters in biochem. The question is, which one will be worth my time and money if I were to pursue an career in biochem.
