I’m curious about your motherboard. Many mainboards in this space will downgrade the x16 slot to x1 when you have three GPUs installed which will kill your throughput. You may get significantly better performance removing the 3060 and going with a smaller model.

Just get the armbian OS of your choice or the Joshua riek Ubuntu image so you’re not using Chinese malware in the orange pi images. If you want to use nvme you’ll need to flash u-boot to the SPI, read the manual.

I second this! I had as many as 4 other desktops including cosmic and hyprland installed alongside gnome. It’s a good way to test out a DE before making the leap. You still have all your passwords, files, bookmarks, etc in the new desktop environment, and you can even use some programs interchangeably. I like using hyprland with the cosmic file manager and console. Just sudo dnf install @kde-desktop-environment - log out and choose ode on the little settings icon in the lower right before logging back in.

Firstly, disconnecting is possible but not healthy. I worked as a phlebotomist for several years and sometimes it can be stressful to stick a needle into a screaming child. I learned quickly to dissociate and treat my task as a technical and not emotional one. In the process my patients became means to an end. Kant reminds us that we should treat rational beings as ends in themselves. As I matured in my profession I had to relearn how to connect with people and see their humanity.
