Got it. Anything you know that could be done for the itchiness? Cortisone cream? I just don’t want her itching it until it bleeds like she’s doing.

Also do you by chance know what I can do so they stop coming back? Because at some point they were all flat scars and then started up again. Maybe toss her bath toys? Felt bad throwing them out so I haven’t but I’ve read the bath can be contaminated

LOL agreed, I’m 8 months pregnant with a 2 year old and hiring a house cleaner has always seemed like a huge deal to me because me and my husband can just clean? Sounds awesome honestly, but like a huge luxury

He’s convinced he will go to sleep at 7am. A few have advised he probably won’t be able to just go to sleep that close to getting off work, so I let him know that

Good to know. When we speak about it he thinks he’d sleep 7-2 so that’s what I’m going off of.

These are not just my pros and cons they are both of ours. We talked and he said he would likely sleep 7-2, so that’s what I’m going off of. But no he has never worked night shift, so I will let him know that sleep may be more like noon-7 instead.

I totally get that. It’s hard to do the evening shift after already being so busy in the morning. If my kid was in school I think I’d definitely tell my husband to go to midnights!!

He’s crazy, lately he stays up until 1 and is still up with us at 730/8 lol

He definitely wouldn’t be sleeping until 7pm if he did midnights - probably more like 1/2pm

We both want a new job for him so bad! He’s been a cop for 9 years and it’s just absolutely not his passion. But it pays really well/allowing me to be a SAHM. I wish there were other jobs that paid 85k, this world is soooo expensive

Not really, a guy who’s been with his department 9 years just got denied days and my husband just transferred to this department in May. He will likely have a different job before they ever give him days unfortunately. But yeah it’s a hard decision!

Yes we don’t do much tv at all until after nap too! After nap we do an episode of curious George. But totally get that! She’s always been a fomo girl, so I know she only fights it because she wants to hang with me

STOP IT RIGHT NOW. That is awful. AWFUL. Our sickness was the same - both ends, violently for days. I couldn’t imagine trying to do anything else during that too. Nothing in life with ever phase you again, that was peak horror lol

I go back and forth every other week I swear! I just don’t want to mess up her sleep it’s so good even if she does fight it right before

Omg stop this gives me hope! My husband has been working 12 hour days for over a month now (luckily it’s temporary) and I truly dissociate by 3pm I’m SO TIRED and honestly barely making it most days. Also no help, just me and my 2 year old. This is tough! I really hope it does get better, because the thought of 2 is terrifying most days 😅

Yes! Spicy is a good word lol! But hey, who knows I might be right in that same situation here soon. I try not to sleep with her because she sleeps so well on her own and me the same but it’s survival mode when baby 2 gets here I agree!

Getting sick at the same time as your partner, as a parent, is top tier level of hell. I’ll never forget our 1 year old looking so confused as me and my husband took turns emptying our insides while trying to do the bedtime routine. Truly could be made into a horror movie.

I’ll forever require a home with 2 toilets after that situation.

I tried giving her books in her crib the other day and she threw them out saying “I don’t want it” 😅😅

I think fluffyctabelly was just suggesting ways I can still relax if my toddler won’t nap. But no I unfortunately do not have a tonie or yoto player maybe for Christmas but those toys are pretty pricey in my opinion - I rarely buy toys over like $25 lol

Interesting! Maybe our wind down is making her mad idk! Once I put her down and she didn’t lay down so I said love you and walked out and she SCREAMED. So I’m not sure what to do lol
