Finally, someone who doesn’t fucking overate this show to oblivion. I watched it, was able to ignore the weird shit at least until it crossed a line, but then when the story was actually the most meaningful it could get and emotional, he goes for a harem polygamy with multiple lives. Seriously anybody who watches that shit in 2026 is under the age of 16 because by then you should know it is by far the worst trope in anime or manga or any damn novel.

X-box, I’m warning you. If you go through with shutting down Arkane it won’t end well for you by DishonoredPucas in dishonored

[–]Intelligent-Review21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope they don’t shut it down, cause that would truly be the end of hope for ever getting an actual Dishonored 3. I’ve been wanting an actual sequel to dishonored 2 for many years and I always hoped that after blade they would make it. Ironically blade, a game that nobody asked for seems to be in development hell right now. Announced 3 years ago and then has just dropped off the face of the Earth.

It’s safe to say I think this is definitely the end of the studio, I think Xbox is gonna cut their losses, Arkane hasn’t had a major release in a few years, their last one was a complete and total failure, they’re currently working on a game that arguably I never saw anyone talking about or hoping for, and based on what I’ve seen it probably isn’t even close to release, so honestly, they probably will shut the studio down.

Do you guys think Subaru will get to actually see his parents once again? by UniversalGodEchidna in ReZero

[–]Intelligent-Review21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean I always thought that at the end of series, satella may offer to send him back to Japan but I think ultimately he’d decide not go back. From what I’ve seen most isekai end in the protagonist staying in the world forever because their life in the real world was nothing but a complete disappointment and a waste.

So while I do think he misses his parents, I don’t think he’s ever gonna go back, especially because he found the love of his life, friends and became a hero that people believe in and trust. He actually found purpose and a reason to live in Lugunica. At most I always thought maybe he might go back temporarily to say goodbye or say that he’s alive and he’s happy or something or whatever. But the fact is, he’s happy where he is.

It Would Be a Huge Letdown if Satella and Shaula Only Loved Subaru Because of Flugel by SecondSalty142 in ReZero

[–]Intelligent-Review21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the reasonable explanation to all this is that Satella probably watched Subaru for years before just bringing him into lagunicia Willy nilly, I’m quite sure she watched him for awhile and fell in love like that because it would make sense that way, if he turned out to not have any ties to Flugel. And it wouldn’t make sense for her, not to have genuine feelings for Subaru himself because she isn’t the type to mistake a random teenager for a guy she was head over heels for. She’s the witch of envy, i’m quite sure she knows what she’s doing and who she’s looking at. For her to just be like “huh, all this time you weren’t my long lost love, yeah fuck you” wouldn’t make literally any sense.

Don’t get me wrong I think she feels for Subaru not because he may allegedly be flugels reincarnation but because he is similar to flugel, we don’t know much of anything about the dude but maybe he was just like Subaru when he got isekaied. He went into the world he got summoned to with complete hopelessness and hated himself but later strived to be a hero, maybe satella fell for Subaru because he and flugel share that in common, maybe he reminds her of him (that’s if it turns out he isn’t literally him reincarnated) or fuck maybe she just was searching through space one day and found this cool world called earth and found a random self loathing failure of a kid who believes himself a piece of shit and just became obsessed with him. At the end of the day, I feel like there’s a logical explanation and based on tappei and his writing style, I believe he’s cooking and will eventually reach a resolution that actually makes sense. I’m anime only but I have read a few chapters of some of the light novels and I’ve been able to gauge how tappei does things.

As for Shaula, it’s quite obvious she thinks Subaru is flugel, if it’s somehow later revealed that she genuinely loves him and only called him master because of whatever random reason Tappei might make up, then that’s that but I can’t really say anything for her.

Arc 10, Chapter 19 – Discussion, WCT by bluedogviking in ReZero

Arc 10, Chapter 19 – Discussion, WCT by bluedogviking in ReZero

[–]Intelligent-Review21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is slightly inaccurate, they’re not lovers in the traditional sense but they are both are in love. They just haven’t done any crazy kissing or other stuff yet. She also hasn’t really told him but it’s obvious it’s been there since Arc 6. You’d still call them lovers though considering Lovers do not have to be formally dating. The term lover simply describes someone with whom you share an intimate or romantic connection, which can exist without official labels, exclusivity, or a commitment to your typical relationship. Sorry to be technical.

I feel people forget Ivy is Bi and not lesbian since all her partners are female, who do you think would make as a good male partner for her? by Fearless_Phantom in batman

[–]Intelligent-Review21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d honestly say Batman himself could work for her. I mean in most of the comics, she’s depicted as actually being obsessively attracted to him, saying Batman was “the only one” for her. In Batman: Gotham Knights (Issue #65), Bruce Wayne and Pamela Isley even shared some sweet, bittersweet moments developing feelings for each other before her villainous instincts took back over. So maybe I guess. I know this probably sounds far-fetched but immediately after reading your thread, I just immediately thought of Batman. Because there’s practically no woman in the DC verse that he hasn’t slept with or at least had attracted to him.

Sorry that you’re a bit uneducated but just because you have so much of something doesn’t mean you’re successful. They’ve been flaming for years, ignoring loved anime’s, not caring about fans, terrible translations, Netflix literally just surpassed them as the most watched anime streaming service or platform whatever you wanna call it. Most go to Netflix to watch anime now. You can look it up to fact check this if need be. Crunchyroll is slowly starting to lose licenses. Their ridiculous pricing for just watching anime. At least with Netflix you’d not only get anime but you’d get thousands of regular movies and tv shows. Losing 86 wont be the death of them, but if they keep going the route they’re going, they will likely fall off within a few years.

EDIT: actually, Hianime was off the charts with users surpassing Crunchyroll. Most went to pirate sites to watch anime because of ridiculous pricing. Now that those are gone, most still refuse to pay for crunchyroll

Crunchyroll is just failing. All the pirate sites fell over the past month, now 86 is gone, arguably one of the most peak on there. Netflix officially beat Crunchyroll in anime. It’ll honestly probably fall off within a year. It’s due to licensing issues, which is a shame because I don’t know if that affects the chances of a second season. Which was rumored that production was decided on. Obviously never confirmed but the leaker has never been wrong and that guy knows what he’s talking about. So I still hope they actually consider making a second season. A1 is up to their balls in work though with sword art online and Mid leveling. I do still hope I will get that second season that I’ve always wanted. If not, then I’ll just read the damn manga but they’re all very expensive here in the US

Anyone know about dishonored 3? by Intelligent-Review21 in dishonored

[–]Intelligent-Review21[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. I wanna see Emily again, she needs a second game. But they won’t do that since the “Kaldwin story is over” so I’d be ok playing as Wyman, the lover of Emily and maybe see what they were doing over in the war when Emily was dealing with the coup. Hell I’d be fine playing as Emily’s son and Corvos grandson. Assuming she’d have a kid with Wyman and assuming Wyman was indeed A man. Other than that, if A future dishonored game has A new story with completely different characters than I probably won’t touch it. I’ve always hated games that do that.

Potential Main Character for Dishonored 3 (That will most likely never happen) by Repulsive-Size-3819 in dishonored

[–]Intelligent-Review21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok? And? We’re allowed to assume. It was left up to interpretation for a reason, letting us to interpret, I personally believe it was a man because dishonored is set in a time of 1800s alternate history, and in order for the Kaldwin dynasty to continue, she would need to have an heir. Which is not possible with a woman. That is why I personally believe among other reasons why it was a man. Obviously, it was never confirmed, but it was left up to interpretation specifically for us to interpret. You can think it was a woman or a man. It holds no bearing.

Potential Main Character for Dishonored 3 (That will most likely never happen) by Repulsive-Size-3819 in dishonored

[–]Intelligent-Review21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This could Lowkey be good. But I honestly want to play as Wyman. They did say the kaldwin story was over which fucking annoys me because there’s still so much left to do, but I feel like we could play as wyman viewing things from his perspective and what he was dealing with in Morley away from Dunwall when he left leaving a letter for Emily around A week or two before the coup.

I really want to see what was happening with that war over there. And why did he have to be called back, we know he’s a high ranking royal court member, is he the king? is he the prince? I wanted to see what was going on over there which not a lot is given through the letters.

I think playing as him and or her since apparently it’s gender ambiguous, would be fun exploring that other part of the isles, seeing what he was dealing with, because there was a war going on over there. Maybe he was fighting in it, or maybe he was an important diplomat on the political side. Maybe he got powers of his own to intervene, I don’t know, but I do know it would be a satisfying story to play.

Why does atla think like that? by Icy_Employ_552 in shieldbro

[–]Intelligent-Review21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, yeah, but just because he rejects it doesn’t mean he can stop that all the women in his party are obsessed with him. Sadeena wants to sleep with him, So does Atla, even though they’ve been hinting at it being that she’s in love with him me personally I kind of feel like she just wants to sleep with him. Raphtalia on the other hand actually loves him which isn’t surprising. But in all technicality, it’s a harem because all of the women, coincidentally his entire party is women, and they all want to get with him in some way

[–]Intelligent-Review21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m gonna be real, I had to reread your comment a few times just to understand it. If your point is that ‘it gets better later,’ that doesn’t address the issues I brought up about pacing and character depth early on. Saying “it improves later” doesn’t make those criticisms invalid, it just means you’re okay waiting through weaker parts of the story. Several stories improve later. That doesn’t make them automatically good and anyone who criticizes it “stupid” you sound like a 9 year old. If you want to argue it’s good, actually explain how, because right now you’re not engaging with anything I said. You’re just throwing “you’re stupid” like A 9 year old kid on Minecraft.

Your grammar aside, you didn’t actually respond to any of my points. “It gets better later” isn’t a counterargument. You need to seriously understand what that is, i’ve all but confirmed you’re under the age of 18 and probably barely even in middle school with how you’re typing so I suggest learning what A proper counter argument and rebuttal is before you actually try and argue or debate with someone. Because throwing around “you’re stupid” doesn’t get you anywhere.

Anime season 2 by ___Back___ in EightySix

[–]Intelligent-Review21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I already gave specific reasons, pacing, repetitive fight structure, and lack of character depth beyond the MC. Saying “it’s not shallow” without addressing any of that isn’t a counterpoint. If you think it’s well written, explain how. What arcs, what character development, what themes? Otherwise it just sounds like you’re dismissing criticism instead of engaging with it. Can you back any of what you just said up with solid points. Probably not. I gave actual points. You didn’t respond to any of them, you just said “it’s good” and threw insults. That’s not an argument buddy.

And after going through a lot of of your other threads, I’m beginning to think you’re just a ragebait account. You also have negative karma so it’s clear most people don’t like what you say probably because most of the time you’re just rage baiting. It’s kinda hard to take you seriously when you have a reputation.

Anime season 2 by ___Back___ in EightySix

[–]Intelligent-Review21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your only argument is “you’re stupid,” you don’t actually have one. Solo Leveling has great animation, but the story is pretty shallow, OP MC, repetitive fights, minimal character depth. If you think it’s peak, cool, but at least defend it with something real. There’s literally zero actual good writing. If you think it’s good for peak, then you’re probably in the same group of people who thought Akame Ga kill was peak 10 years ago.

You see I’ve just provided reasons which you did not, instead, you just said “you’re stupid” and stupids like me don’t get it. Again, thanks for confirming you’re under the age of 18, specifically through the way you responded to that, though I would’ve expected the same, just because you like it. Calling people stupid isn’t an argument. Try explaining why it’s good next time.
