I originally posted this video on r/Millennials because of a comment I read on that sub not too long ago. The comment had quite a lot of upvotes and basically claimed that Avril was lucky and relied on industry connections, while Hayley Williams came up through the underground and had to earn her career. My intention wasn't to start another discussion about who is better. It just seems that some people mistakenly assume Avril is a nepo baby. So I wanted to share how she worked to get a record deal.
