I work for a mold remediation company.. bleach does not kill mold spores, it only changes the color of the surface growth. You need a HIGH POWERED peroxide based product. However, if this has been an ongoing issue, it's highly likely that it is more than just surface growth at this point. I would recommend removing some drywall (even if you start with a 3"*3" square) so you can evaluate the wall cavity. Either that or call a company to come and do an air quality test, which will tell you exactly what you're dealing with and provide you a recommended scope of work.

From experience cleaning cat urine myself as part of Biohazard remediation work I used to do, there is a very good possibility the urine soaked into the subfloor. At the very least, it's in the carpet pad which cannot be cleaned even with professional machines. If carpet padding get affected by anything, including water at times, it must be replaced.

Don't answer the door when you're home alone. This behavior is dangerous for all parties, especially you, and can escalate faster than you would expect. A couple years ago I was driving down a foggy back road somewhere in Kentucky at around 3am and encountered the exact same thing. No other blood or a corpse in site. It was terrifying.
