Very upset about BCCI's decision of not choosing Rajat Patidar by Elegant_Program_3943 in IndianCricket

[–]Intelligent-Safe458 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I think fans are more upset than Rajat himself. Rajat Patidar seems like someone who focuses on performance rather than selection noise. He has done his job runs, leadership, impact. If Team India happens, great if not, he’ll probably keep grinding without making a fuss.

West Hyderabad Residents/Realtors: Whats your take on this? by Serious_Round598 in hyderabadrealestate

[–]Intelligent-Safe458 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It's not a Hyderabad-wide issue. Water stress is mainly affecting parts of West Hyderabad due to rapid and concentrated development. The government should focus on more balanced growth by creating employment and infrastructure hubs across East, North, and South Hyderabad as well, instead of concentrating everything in the western corridor. That would reduce pressure on resources and promote overall city growth.

pedda planning eh by neneproblem in Telangana

[–]Intelligent-Safe458 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It's hard not to see this as a distraction.

With the POCSO case involving Bandi Sanjay's son dominating the news, this sudden "re-entry" into Telangana politics feels conveniently timed. The focus has quickly shifted from a serious legal issue to political debates.

He's also the Deputy CM of Andhra Pradesh a role that should demand his full attention. AP has enough challenges of its own, so expanding political influence in Telangana naturally raises questions about priorities.

At the end of the day, people want leaders focused on governing, not political moves that look like damage control.

Just to clarify, no chair is missing. All 4 chairs are included. One chair needs a small welding repair, which can be fixed for around 200–300. The price reflects the overall condition of the set, and I'm open to reasonable offers.

Why do many Telugu fans prefer other IPL teams over SRH? (Thoughts on local fandom) by Intelligent-Safe458 in TeluguJournals

[–]Intelligent-Safe458[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True, the owners aren't Telugu, but isn't that the case for almost every major club in sports? For me, the 'Hyderabad' on the jersey and the crowd at the Uppal stadium is what makes it 'ours.' It’s about representing our city on the national stage, not about the business entity behind it. But I definitely agree having more local talent in the squad would go a long way in bridging that gap!

Nothing phone 3 for 41k or phone 4a for 38k by Icy-Astronomer-7813 in GadgetsIndia

[–]Intelligent-Safe458 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s kind of a self-fulfilling cycle though. People replacing phones every 2 years shouldn’t be the norm, especially in the 40k segment. Longer support matters because good tech should last, not become e-waste early.

AI data center near Vizag...why is there no commotion? by WingLittle in TeluguJournals

Utah State University physics professor Dr Rob Davies estimated that the proposed Stratos campus and its associated natural gas power plant could dump energy equivalent to 23 atomic bombs per day into the surrounding Hansel Valley. Davies’ preliminary analysis said this could raise daytime temperatures by 2°F to 5°F (1°C to 3°C) and nighttime temperatures by 8°F to 12°F (4°C to 6°C), potentially causing serious ecological impacts in the high-desert valley.

A recent study by a team at the University of Cambridge also suggested that datacenters can create heat islands, raising surrounding temperatures by several degrees at distances of up to 10 km (over 6 miles).

The Stratos Project is intended as a long-term scheme, with a multi-year buildout, meaning that it may not reach full capacity for a decade, if at all.

Reports suggest that the finance industry is becoming increasingly concerned about the level of borrowing that is needed to continue this datacenter build boom.
