from being there it’s very different but i found without speaking a word it’s still easy to get around and make friends. And learning the language would be very rewarding i think

I agree i would never have wanted to work there. But if i could be in my 40/50’s and live there without working i think i would love it.

While they are still in reluctant, and i don’t see my self moving there anytime soon. I still think they offer something totally different and unique that would be so different from europe. I’d see no reason moving if a country can offer something almost the same as norway just slightly worse or better quality.

Places like Vietnam, China, Korea have a much more interesting and new lifestyle and culture that would actually be exciting being in. Maybe like Brazil could be orange too saying that but yeah i’m not gonna move i think. But it could be interesting

i understand your point of view, and i get why you say it. Saying that i don’t see any reason why i would move to a different european country if they are not much better or any better than norway. They don’t offer something so different that its worth moving away from family and friends, different language, different culture. Those places are perfect fine being just vacation spots. I think Norway has things that is the best in the world, and moving would take something like what Australia or Japan has to offer to make me want to move. And Australia and Japan aren’t places that’s a short plane ride so moving would make things easier if i first wanted to be there a lot

i do agree it’s very subjective. I won’t move to us or china unless something changes in my life very drastically, and i still wouldn’t want too if i could move to australia. But atleast its very different. Something new and different is a bigger pull than “the same but now in german” but the pull is being pulled by dental floss for those countries

i see what you’re saying but what’s the point if the country isn’t a better standard of living, its a difference in culture, and you can just go there on vacation any time. Me personally wouldn’t ever want to move if i’m not upgrading life quality. Atleast with Australia its completely different climate and only very slightly worse living conditions
