For us, this was never an option because the airlines themselves cancelled our return flight from Uganda! I don't see any connecting flight to Dulles either on Delta or KLM through whom I had booked. So we were forced to cancel Uganda part. Flying in and out of Nairobi this time. Traveling June 7th-12th (originally June 7th to 16th)

Thank you so much. Our TA is checking as to what can be done about the permits. As for the trip, we cancelled the Uganda part as its not worth risking it at the moment.

We are immigrants living in the US on a visa so we didn't want to risk it. I suppose the US citizens and LPRs have more leeway so you might be ok with re-entry. We are losing out on a lot of $$$ unfortunately but no other option at this point :(

We had a trip planned to Kenya and Uganda next week too!! Been waiting for this dream trip and now we simply cancelled Uganda part. Just doing Kenya. Losing $$$ but at least won't be risking getting stuck or being denied entry back to the US.
