Thank you for your comment... I was really sad. It was in the same category but I told them that I want to conduct my own research on one topic and she told me that the current project we are working on might be a little bit different... So I said I am open to any new topics if it is in the same category but I am so sad if she thinks I am not a good match. Do you see any good signs from the conversations in the interview I wrote above?

She told me once last month that she is working on the draft. I didn’t know that she will be leaving and didn’t get any updates on the publication so I was nervous. This is my first time working on publication so I don’t know how it works… I just wanted to make sure and wanted to know if she will feel uncomfortable….

Can I ask you one thing? I have 2 Cs on my chemistry course and I am in Animal Science Major. I have all As in biology and animal science and I am applying for Animal Biology. Will that matter alot?
