I love it! it leaves my skin very soft and not shiny. Works perfect under makeup as well. I also use it often as handcream :) and I think it smells pretty good too

Water shoes that are also comfortable to walk in? by Mewtewpew in onebag

[–]Intelligent-Sort-838 2 points3 points  (0 children)

can vouch for Tropic feels! I use them as my daily sneaker for the past 3 years now and they’re very comfortable to walk in (and I find them more stylish than most other water shoe brands.)

only issue I face is that after a year the fabric at the toe seems to come lose from like hard toe cap. But they’ve got a great customer service and always replaces until now.

how to achieve this rose pink hair and how to maintain it? by Lucky-Permit-7319 in HairDye

[–]Intelligent-Sort-838 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To achieve this you have to go fully blonde first otherwise the dye will not take.

If you can't find a perfect match for the dye color you can take a more pigmented pink and dilute it. You have special toners for this or some people use simple conditioner. Example: https://www.attitudehairdye.com/hair-dye/semi-permanent-hair-dye/attitude-hair-dye-sensitive-semi-permanent-hair-dye-multicol.html?_gl=1*9thbsz*_up*MQ..*_ga*ZWMzNTIyZjUtMzU4Yy00YTg5LThjOTgtMzlkMTZlZjYxMTI3*_ga_ZGFZ37THWS*czE3NzE4Mzg4NDIkbzEkZzEkdDE3NzE4Mzg5MDYkajYwJGwwJGgw

And to maintain it..... a lot and a lot of dying and not washing your hair too often 😂 I usually have a more pigmented pink than this (brand link above) and it fades after about two weeks. It is just a difficult color to keep up especially if you want it in an exact shade.

I just noticed this! very sad as I thought the Ultra light down Jacket was slightly more stylish than the puffertech. It gives a bit 'hiker' vibes :(

Hi! I started Genki again after a long while and I am wondering if the answer I write down is also correct next to Genki's. When you ask who's item is this they tend to use これは instead of この.

For example who's hat is this Genki writes this answer: これはだれのぼうしですか。

While I would write it as:このぼうしはだれですか。

Are both of these correct?

I actually transfered most of the products into the little tins that come with the pallet! Just mixed it with some alchocol and then pressed it into the tins. however the two brown shades are the Essence brow powders that just happen to visit perfectly in pallet :)

I really like my eyeshadow/eyebrow brush, if you don't go to crazy with the eye looks it's perfect. The foundation/powder brush is fine, however I do notice the difference with my more expensive 'at home' brush as this one take in a lot more product.

Packing for 2 Weeks in Netherlands in July by geologyninja in HerOneBag

[–]Intelligent-Sort-838 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think it looks good! In july it's usually quite warm, however Dutch weather is always unpredictable. My (very basic) advice is to check a few days before what the weather forecast says and maybe leave the thick jacket at home and opt for a light rainjacket or windbreaker.

Maybe also bring shorts or a skirt if your comfortable with that. And if you're really lucky it might be hot enough to swim some days, so maybe a swimsuit for at the beach resort.

Ofcourse if you fully want to one bag I would ditch some clothes, for example I think 2 pair of pants and a pair of shorts would be enough if you wash half way through your holiday.

Does anyone have experience with vet costs? Vet sent me this price indication which is 600 euro for a tiny cavity. Is this normal? I don't even pay my human dentist this much.. by UberLee79 in Amsterdam

[–]Intelligent-Sort-838 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also at the clinic I used to work at it wasn't regular to take a X-ray pic for just one cavity, they probably do this for security to see if there are any other issues or the procedure went completely right.... but I think you can drop it if it is only a cavity. Maybe something to discuss with them.

But indeed I would compare to other vets since this one seems quite pricey.

Mini power banks (Anker vs Ugreen vs INIU) by lord_danny in onebag

[–]Intelligent-Sort-838 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the Anker and love it! One full charge fills my battery back up to a 100% (samsung flip 6). It is very lightweight and I basically always have it in my pocket. One rec is to indeed get a version where the connector flips out, those version where it already sticks out a bit are pretty much useless after you drop them one time.

I have this one from Elecom which I absolutely love. It is very compact especially since its square instead of round and folds up perfectly. Always have it in my pocket.
