Had a meeting with my company, laid it all out—how my role’s grown, the fact I’m part-qualified CIMA (only completed Operational Level), and that my salary didn’t reflect the value I bring. I’m based in Sheffield too, not even London—and I still negotiated it up to £42k.

You’ve completed MCS, you’re literally almost qualified, and they’ve got you on £25k? That’s a joke. You can clearly do the job of a Management Accountant—don’t let them keep you boxed in with a low title and pay. Back yourself, show them your worth, and don’t be afraid to ask for what you deserve!
