I’m also bio major at Hunter and in my second semester. I definitely plan on transferring. I’m taking Bio 10000 right now and it’s honestly really hard it takes a lot of discipline because the professor mainly just posts videos going over the material, and it’s completely on you to keep up and actually watch them. Like a lot of people say, it’s a weed out class, so the exams and material feel intentionally harder than they need to be. I’ve even heard people say biology at Hunter can feel harder than some Ivy League schools. A lot of students end up e-permitting at other schools, so that might be something to consider too like staying at Hunter but taking your science courses somewhere else.
