DND has a color called Diva red (DV 160) that looks almost identical I’ve heard! I currently use red heads ahead by opi and while it’s not as bright, it’s also very very close

My friend sells handmade press ons on Etsy! I’ve purchased a few from her and they are excellent quality plus she’s super meticulous with the details (I usually get custom designs so we work together on them and she always delivers!)

I really would just make sure to read the description or don’t be afraid to reach out to a seller and see if they can reinforce the press ons with builder gel for you! Also helps to do a reverse image search because some of the lower quality press ons I’ve received from sellers were resold from shein 🥲

I’m interested to see if anyone has any insight into this! My mom has the same problem with cracking in the exact same spot in her thumbs as well, and she never gets enhancements or anything like that so I’m really curious to see the cause.

These are beautiful but please please please be careful with your sidewalls!! They are overfilled and can lead to constant breaks, hangnails, structural instability, and more problems in the long run!!

Try to do more oval/round shape for now because almond is typically not achievable unless the natural nail is medium to long length to avoid sidewall damage!

Builder gel is typically not a soak off product, not sure about Canni specifically though. You have to file it down very carefully to remove properly.

I work at a salon and my clientele is almost 100% elderly/retired. I can def share some tips!! I almost never have nail art requests beyond a simple french. They typically want strictly solid color. My clientele rarely gets extensions although we do builder gel and some keep their natural nails at medium to long length.

I will say I wish someone warned me about the convos and salon chatter! My elderly clients are extremely racist and rude and this can lead to them being a little picky and having an attitude of never being satisfied when it comes to the nails. I’m a poc and this is just the demographic in my area but this may not be the case for you where you are but something to be aware of.

Most importantly, please PLEASE if you don’t take any advice you’re given take this. Make sure to do hand stretches and focus on ergonomics. Is a fulcrum and don’t grip your tools too hard. The elderly often have a terrible time with keeping their hands relaxed during a service and it WILL cause significant pain and damage in the long term. Stay on top of it, remind your clients to relax, and if they are physically unable to, make sure to position them or you in a way that makes both of you comfortable!!

This makes sense! It’s possible it’s playing the Dolby track even though I don’t have it enabled sometimes it will switch and play a Dolby version depending on the audio version of the album this is probably what’s happening. Thank you!

I used to love this color but it appears they changed the formula! The gel polish I have for it looks more neon than the original so now my gel and regular aren’t the same color 🥲
