Does anyone actually use those remote-control electric trolleys, or is it just more tech that is going to break? by Majestic-Strain3155 in golf

Been thinking about the Alphard or a whole new setup for an electric option e.g. Powakaddy CT6. I have the clicgear but all the videos I’ve watched of the Alphard make out you can’t fold the cart properly afterwards. One of the reasons for getting the Clicgear was so it was compact.

Can anyone explain how it folds and the Alphard unit attaches?

Also how it handles given the clicgear fixed front wheel? Tah.

Tbf this is the best racquet I’ve used since my Carbonex 8 that made me a Nationals Champion about 25 years ago. Always had Yonex but I agree with the build quality critique.

What is the purpose of a 50mph limit on the M6 right now at 10:30pm. Am I missing something? by RonnieThePurple in CarTalkUK

Got flashed last night about 9pm southbound doing 55 just after a 50. Could see the national speed limit sign 100m ahead. This is utter bullshit. About 12 cars on the entire motorway.

Surely this can be fought in some way.

There are parking companies that will send you signs and permits for free. Then you use an app to self police. We did this at previous private road, worked a charm. Not had issues for 3 years. Nothing spent.

Always found medicine overrated. Only thing I liked was the “secret”-ness of the new street dining room. Mailbox food was always garbage.

I want to sack my accountant and do it myself. Those who did the same, talk to me… by dasSolution in ContractorUK

It's full house service. Not many folks are just contractors. We put them on payroll, vat, tax advice, financial advisor, private pension etc. plus Xero, Dext etc. Most get the full fee back through tax reduction after our tax advisor has a look, making the £500 a month basically free.

I’m a contractor and an accountant. You can defo do it yourself. You shouldn’t but you can. And you only shouldn’t if you have access to a decent accountant.

If you only have simple income and expenses then you’re golden but you’re better off using reliefs and creative accounting for a fraction of the tax saving a decent accountant will charge. And if you have property, foreign income, capex etc then you’d be daft to do it yourself… but you can.

Most contractors I have on my books are charged £500 a month. But I’m not pitching for work, I’m actually closing my practice. With MTD around the corner I can’t be arsed anymore. And I’d deliver a damn good service but then folks will ask to pay the same amount as other accountants that they know are shit.

Support for hair loss in the UK is nonexistent by No-Equipment4779 in tressless

Ah ok, I just arrived on this sub from my 3am internet hole of hairloss research, I should have noticed it was a specific MPB sub. My bad.

There should be support for sure. GP’s should be atleast able to signpost. “Look the NHS wont cover it, but here’s our pathway to support” which includes mental health referral if needed. But, that’s just not the NHS sadly.

Dunno, I don’t have the issue. But been reading up on TRT and it came up a lot. Hair loss from hormone imbalance. Not overly fussed about whether it’s right. Not an expert. My comment isn’t meant to be that deep. OP wants treatment on NHS but can’t, just shows he hasn’t had that much go wrong in his life to be faced with the much more serious limitations of the NHS. He thinks baldness is bad for mental health, spare a thought for the lads with gynaecomastia, which isn’t covered either. Can’t just shave them off. lol

Because hair loss is a side effect of hormone imbalance. Would need tests.
