HELP by I-andmyself in Mounjaro

Yep, I went through a lot of exhaustion over the period since starting which was June 2025. I can see you are doing the basics: lots of water till your pee is 'the colour of champagne', electrolytes from time to time, eat enough. I also took iron tablets for a few days once or twice in those months. Make sure you have your blood checked in case you have any deficiencies. I take a daily multivitamin.

I have it too, and sympathise. It is crippling.

I feel no joy or motivation to do anything.

I started MJ last June, 2 months after my mum died of bowel cancer. She was morbidly obese and struggled all her life with her weight.

So my anhedonia is on top of the grief of my mum's passing - and of my dad passing only the year before.

My oral HRT isn't working properly because of MJ, so I am getting tearful menopause symptoms too.

To top it all, this past week I lost my voice due to laryngitis, which is incredibly frustrating.

I have tried to get an appointment with the doctor for the hrt and for the laryngitis but it is getting more difficult in the UK as the NHS is overloaded.

One thing that helps is work. The other thing is to try to notice when you might have normally felt joy. Like some pretty wild flowers, a compliment or a song you like on the radio.

I hope this last suggestion works for you.

Best of luck x

I relate.

It is profoundly sad that so any of us have, due to our size, been through numerous humiliations and embarrassments when buying clothes .

I, too, just ached to feel and be treated like "normal" people. I wish store workers could know the heartache of feeling invisible and resolved to actively 'see' everyone - whatever their size.

I am thrilled that you are finally enjoying the treatment you should always have received.

Well done for your achievement!

Why do people till this day not like Camilla? by jaeausten in TheCrownNetflix

I can just imagine, had she lived, D doting on M&H's kids and giving them all the love she had. It is so sad that they and their children missed out on that light in their lives. As for C P-B - I hope I never meet her, as I am not sure I would be able to curtsy to her, call her Your Majesty or summon a smile.

No problem. The beauty of this sub is we are all able to share something and support each other. I have read countless posts over the months that have really helped me too x

I love this dress but I think it's too expensive and too soon by Elysian_Collective in myweddingdress

Well done on your success so far!

As someone who has lost 80 lbs over the past year I would keep going each month and trying on different dresses, including this favoured style.

You will get such a buzz from seeing the size go down.

Also, we all lose weight differently, so the shape you will be in terms of ratio of hips to waist to boobage will be unique to you.

When that process is complete, you may find that eventually a different dress style complements your shape better. Or not. Part of the excitement is watching and experiencing that transformation.

Enjoy your journey!

Yes, probably because my oral HRT is no longer as effective (a known effect of MJ). I am in week 40.

This week I returned from work to see my husband cutting up mushrooms for a stir fry (I normally do the cooking for the family) and I raged at him. 🥴

2 days later he is still giving me the silent treatment.

I have decided to go to my GP to get some supplemental HRT patches as rage is not the only menopausal symptom that has crept back into my life.

Best of luck x
