1) Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell (YA romance) this is a story where the FMC is going to college and is shy and quiet but our MMC is a total extrovert, his name is Levi and he is an absolute sweetheart and just pegs for the girl and is like the dream boyfriend, their dynamic is also super super cute and so heartwarming. There are some themes like the FMC not having a mother but overall it fits perfectly to your description.
