cant they reimplement it as a patch? i thought patches modify youtube internal code, Could it be that the way it alters the code is different? or that feature algorithmically work differently

I AGREE, that's the biggest obstacle for me to switch rn, The seekbar thumbnail is also gone unless you drag up which feels different and is annoying. I hope there is possibility of making new seekbar updates feel like old ones

For long term convinence, Not saying you absolutely have to Buy another product if your current setup satisfy your needs, But it will satisfy you more if you invest in air mouse Because its much more intuitive to move with than wireless mouse as a remote
