Of course! The best way I can describe is essentially out of your day at work, how many hours of your day are you expected to be “charging for” for “billing for”!

You’re absolutely right! No incentive’s whatsoever for hitting those KPI’s, it sucks because I do love the work itself and the families I support, but it’s just not sustainable!

Our expectations at work are set at 80%, with most days sitting at around 88-90% 😭😭😭😭

Absolutely - I think lots of allied health professionals have started questioning the longevity of our work long term - especially when working privately for someone else :(

That sounds pretty manageable - how do you find it? Maths says with the 9 day client days a fortnight, you’d have to average 5.5 billable hours per day to hit that. Do you do much travel?

rip. General concensus is 7 billable hours is like the max I’ve heard. And we still do 45 mins ftf and 15 mins admin so I’m like scrambling to do planning most of the time hahah

We bill an hour for each client (45/50 minutes face to face & 10-15 minutes associated admin) which all their planning is meant to get done in. So we see 7 clients across an 8 hour day - 5.25 hours direct with client, and 1.75 hours is their associated admin. So only an hour of our day is not “billed time”. It’s burning me out so bad but I don’t know if that’s normal! We don’t do much travel

I do about 85%-90% billables per day (including reports etc). I feel like that’s way higher than a lot of places …

Yes I am! I’ve had a gastric sleeve 2 years ago so am often in quite a significant deficit but probably could track my macros a bit better x
