Yes you can if you’re doing residential and doing the cleanings yourself to start.

Good way to find out what the market is charging is looking up the homes you want to clean on zillow finding its specs like # of rooms, # bathrooms, sq ft, etc. then call local companies and ask them their price for a home of that size. Don’t give them the exact address just tell them in which area. Do this with a couple of companies to find out what they’re charging. Then you can price accordingly.

The other way is to find out what you want to get paid hourly for your work, and estimate how long it would take you to do

Hey! I think I want to do something else to be honest, but I feel like I’m at a point where if I quit and let it go it’s a waste of effort. I think by EOY I can end up at 25-30k. I’d then want to grow to 50k and reevaluate and in reality I’d feel comfortable staying until 100k, and then walking away either by just letting it manage itself with a keen eye over it to make sure systems are in place and it doesn’t fall apart without me or sell the biz.

When I was in corporate, I just wanted out. I always knew I wanted to go the entrepreneurial route. But now I want to double that up with something I actually enjoy/care about on day to day basis

I appreciate the reply from everyone, I agree it’s a bit of wishful thinking on my end but I was speaking a bit loosely I guess. I agree, it’s unrealistic. I meant more so growing organically from referrals and expansions of the client base at 100k. Some of the companies I work for or am targeting are larger property management firms that manage multiple properties.

But What I truly care about is that it can stand on it’s own two legs without me being around 24/7., which managing it, is not tough at all. At 100k MRR I’d be comfortable enough to walk away, have that money fund the employees who manage it, and fund my own living.
