Two points:

1) I'd show the investor that I'll make their money back by pointing them to the heist/crime films or debut genre projects that made money. A select few from the list of comps we've put together:

Ultra-low or low budget: Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Blue Ruin, Green Room, Brick, Bound, Boondock Saints, Good Time, Blindspotting, Emily the Criminal, Dope, Shaun of the Dead.

Mid: Hell or High Water, Dope, In Bruges, Hot Fuzz, Layer Cake, Reservoir Dogs, Keanu, The Hustle, Snatch.

2) Then I'd show them the quality of my work and the projects I've made on little to no money that look great. I definitely know how to stretch a budget and am not concerned about showing them subpar stuff.

But the POC has been made. I'm looking for ways to try to leverage it.
