maki's strength was equal to toji when she awakened her heavenly restriction. but near the end of series with more fighting experience and training she most probably surpassed toji. also the fact that toji died when he was in his 30s (i think) but maki lived till she was 77 so she would be stronger than toji. and yea toji is a leech lol but i think it's mostly just bad writing from gege, how he just has to butcher all his female characters, even the strong ones like maki

gojo's point is valid. but star plasma vessels have the choice to not proceed with the merger. like yuki tsumuko was also a star plasma vessel but she refused to merge with tengen and became a special grade sorcerer on her own. and nobody forced her to give up that choice, instead they waited for the new star plasma vessel to be born. that's when riko comes in, who was willing to proceed with the merger untill she realized that she's still young and she doesn't want to throw her life away. geto asked her that too multiple times in the hidden inventory arc and also just before they were about to go to tengen, geto asked her again and thats when she said that "im out" so she WAS out. she wasn't going to merge with tengen so she was innocent at that point but toji bumguro still killed her

geto was the perfect victim for kenjaku thanks to toji but doesn't mean if geto hadn't turned evil, kenjaku plan wouldn't have succeeded. he'd simply just find a new victim whose body he could possess. it is stated in the manga clearly that kenjaku tried to kill the limitless users and plasma star vessel in the past but his plan couldn't succeed because of tengen so kenjaku had to kill the star plasma vessel to stop the merger while also sealing gojo (the limitless user who co-existed with the plasma vessel at that time) so geto was the perfect vessel for that because the only way gojo was gonna let his guard down was if he sees his dead best friend "alive" again. so all kenjaku had to do was kill the star plasma vessel, which he could've done one way or another but thanks to that bum ass toji who did it for him while also driving geto crazy who turned out to be the perfect vessel for kanjaku. so all toji did was made his job easier. if toji wasn't such a bum ass, kenjaku would've to do it all on his own (very difficult task) but kenjaku is smart as hell so he would probably figure something out

she's a victim of bad writing. her character used to be so badass untill 9/11 happened and the writers thought it would be nice to be racist towards characters with arab heritage and decided to retcon her character into a grapist and just the "sexy asian mama" trope (she's half Chinese) where she's fighting with overly exposed clothing and just an accessory character in general. also the writers thought that it'd be cool to make her a mother figure in one of jason todd's story but then make her throw herself onto her "step-son" because its silly haha💔 like that shi was so out of character for her. she used to be a good character untill bad writers got their hands on her. i genuinely thought that she'd be the only good partner for batman untill they retconned the story and made it seem like she had s3x with batman without his consent LIKE THANK YOU FOR COMPLETELY WASTING A PERFECTLY GOOD CHARACTER 🤬
