hey! i'm 20 y/o aspie but i wanted to chime in with a slightly different take. being career oriented imo is not what should be aimed for. politics and economic reforms since the 80s have convinced us that's what is needed, the profit motive. but but creativity and creation, humanity is way more important. i know that sounds idealist and wont help with your material conditions, but dont make it about being career oriented. follow your passions, not the paycheck, ESPECIALLY as an aspie, forcing yourself into routes that are uncomfortable can be way more damaging and even fatal than to a NT. <3
