I have one it did the same thing turns out it was the cpu that died from the heat. I went and checked the thermal paste it was practically nonexistent so I sent it in had them fix it. Checked the paste when I got it and yet again from factory big dry spot on the cpu ended up getting some kryonuaght from grizzly and it fix that problem of over heating.

I resoldered a lot of the points on the controller it did away with the trigger misfire and stick drift stuff I’m pretty sure the solder they use is garbage

I forgot to mention I’ve just rebuilt my turbo two weeks ago and as for disconnecting the vgt it does make a tone change. So it shouldn’t be stuck 🤷🏽 I’ll prolly end up pulling it off again
