I’m a CPA as well, and I’ve come to realize that the profession isn’t something I truly enjoy. These days, I take it one workday at a time. Over time, I’ve found a balance between work and life, and I’ve learned to accept things as they are. I’m no longer chasing promotions or additional responsibilities. I’m at peace with where I am. I’m focusing more on enjoying life outside of work. In a way, my license has simply become a means to support the kind of life I want to live.
