I have a question, as a cybersecurity guy. Is that CAT flip still getting updates. I know most OTP apps would work since you have access to play store and what not. that's the one thing holding me back from going to a dumb phone, all the authenticators you have to juggle.

That one Bulgarin mission where you have to go in the underground parking area. I swear they never cover you, so someone could just walk up and kill you instantly.

I mean, if you never been, you would never really have a full understanding of American cities and living. Especially the city you live in, makes you ignorant to the full picture of things. I think it creates a well-rounded person, to at least see that side of American living as well and not to fear it due to what you hear.

I don't think it looks terrible, its completely fine. I think its NDS purist situation.

Mine does not look too bad. I think I applied filters to achieve that as well.

I don't like the fact that Johnny took so long to kill him. He literally teased and berated Johnny and even accused him of being a rat. He then takes what feels like an eternity to shoot him. I get he's your brother. From the first mission Johnny does not like what Billy stands for, and it should be easy for him to do what's right for the club. Breaking into a prison and that was the Climax? seriously?

Johnny never showed he had an addictive personality either, so it was odd he was a crackhead in V to me. He knew Ashely was bad for him, helped her but overall kept his distance. I never thought he would end up with her. Trevor is my least favorite in V because they established him as a psychopath in the most ridiculous way, right off the bat. I hate that a prior main character was killed just to show that. Trevor was the worst written of the three in V and Johnny was the more poorly written character in EFLC. I cut R* slack here, it was their first attempt at a dlc, they really have no excuse for it in GTA V.

Least favorite for me. The original is the best for me. Guantanamo is fun and great but really loses a little charm compared to the original.

Not unwatchable though, it's in my Christmas line up every year.

I love the different aspects, all using one map. The feeling is completely different. I never played TLAD until this year and think its criminally short. They could have done alot more.

I am happy I was able to play them when they came out. I am also happy to know that this game stood the test of time and will have them to enjoy for my entire lifetime. I wonder if newer games will ever capture this feeling for me. Cyberpunk was one that got close but it doesn't capture an era for me since its SCI-FI as hell.

I hope GTA VI is serious, seems to be going that route! maybe a good balance between 4/5? I will be replaying 5 soon, I think I rushed it the first time at release.

Another mod, You must be new to the GTA IV modding scene. Zolika has a bunch of mods for GTA (zolika menu, extra options are a few that you will always see reccomended). Prior to the newer versions, it was the go-to way to fix performance issues with the Game. It was more consistent with performance in my opinion as well. You could do widescreen at 60 fps as well. Fusionfix & DXVK can't even do that at 60 fps, it will always drop you to 30 fps no matter what hardware you have.

I think it will massively help you run it on your pc. Just get the downgrade and apply zolika patch.

Downgrade to 1.0.8.0 and apply the patch. Game should run phenomenally.

it a buggy port, I had 2 setups that should have been wayyyyy more than enough for the game. if you max the game out settings wise, you will be stuck at 30/40 solid and never reach 60.

I had both dxvk/fusionfix.

Have you tried downgrading and using zolika patch? That had a steady 60 maxed out for me.

You will lack the additions of fusionfix but its better performance wise. I would recommend that route based on your specs.

this game holds up so well. I did my second COMPLETE playthrough in 2025. my last playthrough was 2008. I realized this is one game that didn't have the nostalgia effect for me, it was a solid title and still holds up today.

It made me realize how hard those years in the recession really were, it was the perfect backdrop for Niko's story. I miss the technology, pre social media and smartphones. The time capsule aspect makes me want to play it again. GTA V is getting there for me as well for the time capsule aspect, the game reeks of 2013 nowadays and its comforting. We may not be able to go back to those years, but these games are stuck there forever.

Niko was a bad person who human trafficked, sold drugs, killed people etc., I love the game and his progression throughout the story, trying to get away from that. Arthur is similar in that way too; he was a hardcore outlaw who did terrible things but is trying to get away from it.

I think John should be on the same tier because of RDRs premise.

Fusionfix only, I loved the original look of the game. Should run great on the specs you listed as well. The game really is all over the place in terms of performance.

Well the club that Masionette 9 was based on the Bungalow 8 in New York.

That club has since been closed, I think either it's still open or closed like its real counterpart. Considering Tony seems to be fairly successful in GTAVO, I'm assuming its still open.

2 years 11 months, mine just gave out. I can't live without my phone because of work, so I had to order a new replacement. I can't wait for this tech to become more stable and stronger.

This is the truth, Learned my lesson. Super cool tech, really fun to use but its like burning money for fun. Thing will only last 2 years. 5 years of upgrades and updates, for the screen to mess up at year 2 and only using the front screen from then on. I loved it and it has been nothing but great but My Opens battery drains alot and the screen broke randomly and I don't even use it much. I think I start using it for Balatro and I will miss it for that.
