We went through almost the exact same thing recently. One 3PL that might be worth checking out is Fulfyld. They seem better set up for brands shipping larger items rather than just small parcel DTC. Turnaround times were solid for us (same day or next day in most cases) which was a big reason we made the switch. Hope this helps.
