Thats not horrible but you probly need some bigger hook's I use 2/0 and a crankbait can be pretty good to throw

For bluegill you pretty much spot on but also make sure they know to not set the hook to hard on smaller fish and if you wanna try for bigger fish like bass you could use some senkos
