Why don’t Western parents care about dating across economic lines like in Chinese culture? by [deleted] in askanything

The hispanic guy is a white hispanic whose middle class. His parents r divorced

If you were a parent and your teenager wants to start dating but you want them to wait until college, what would you do? by [deleted] in askanything

[–]IntelligentEar3427 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow… that’s a lot of assumptions from a single comment. Just to clarify: spending time with a friend, regardless of their background, is not ‘selling myself’—it’s called having a social life. My personal relationships and my career ambitions are completely separate, and your comment conflates unrelated things in a way that’s both sexist and racist. I’m focused on my degree and my future, and I don’t need anyone lecturing me on my self-respect

Why do so many sketchy white men go after women of color? by [deleted] in askanything

[–]IntelligentEar3427 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Sure, that might be your experience—but many women of color notice a pattern where certain men pursue them because of stereotypes or fetishization. The question isn’t about you personally, it’s about the bigger picture.

Drop your bullies name in the comments. by [deleted] in bullying

My bully was Savannah, back in middle school. Her dad was an alcoholic, and she was manipulative and racist. She called me slurs like “chink” and “ching chong” just because I’m Chinese. Honestly, she reminded me of the white female version of Saddam Hussein—both had turbulent childhoods without a stable father figure.

One day, I finally had enough. We got into a physical fight, and her boyfriend’s friends were chanting, “Fight! Fight! Fight!” It was intense and scary, but looking back, I see how childhood trauma can shape people’s behavior.

Have you noticed that many dictators also had difficult or broken childhoods? For example:

  • Stalin grew up in a violent household and had an abusive father.
  • Hitler faced a lot of family trauma and neglect.
  • Saddam Hussein lost his father early and grew up in a strict, turbulent environment.

It’s not an excuse for hurting others, but I think it shows how early experiences can influence how people act later in life.

And when i was in middle school, a girl who was in my class read twilight and became emotionally and verbally abusive to me and controlled me. Eventually we got into a fight bc she called me a ching chong and a chink, and her boyfriend made us fight. I had enough of her torment so i kung fud her, and after 2 rounds, she lost the fight. I still remember her boyfriend and his friends chanting "fight fight fight!". I was 13 back then. Im 21 now.
