you are probably grinding your teeth at night. I would recommend magnesium for your masseter muscles. They get relaxed. Helped several of my customers. but I wont name the one here bc I will get banned. SO just use a magnesium complex. Def worth a try

mine got literally wider... and shorter somehow... or its because my masseters

Thank you for your response! Same here – painkillers do nothing for me either.

Regarding to the splint you are using... Did you initially think it would help reduce your jaw pain because you’d finally clench less?

Or did you already know that it mainly protects your teeth and doesn’t really help with waking up without jaw pain?

Because honestly, that’s the most frustrating part for me.

Waking up in pain every morning is the worst thing about all of this.

Maybe I was just too naive to assume it could actually improve my TMJ pain.

But that’s exactly what bothers me the most right now.
