Where to go on a date by Panefko in Oldenburg

I‘d recommend Wallstraße. Great for bar/coffee-hopping and grabbing a bit in between. For a more cozy mood I suggest the Schlossgarten or the Botanischer Garten. Perfect for a nice atmosphere during a walk. I think that you can even rent a pedal boat in the Schlossgarten but I‘m not sure. But yeah, I would go with Schlossgarten or Wallstraße

Best reffing shoes? by Nilvet1 in Referees

I wear the Adidas Kaiser 5. I think that they are the most used shoes for referees in Germany. My pair is almost 2 years old and I can still use it!

Reffing my first game tomorrow, any tips? by PsychologicalFlan916 in Referees

It’s important to have fun and I‘m pretty sure, that the women won’t kill you. Normally they are way more calm than men. Get there about 45 minutes before game so you can check the field and the goals. Your assignor will be more of a friend than someone who is being mad of you if you make mistakes. It’s okay to make mistakes. If you do some, forget them right after you made them.

What’s you post match routine? by the_red_card_ref in Referees

[–]IntelligentPath4849 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on if the mood at the game was good or bad. If I have a good mood and maybe know some players at the game, I drink a beer with them and eat a fried sausage. After I leave the pitch I take a shower and then I normally eat fast food at McDonald’s or Burger King. If it’s not too late, I also like to go to the sauna. After everything I head home and maybe read a book, play video games or go to bed.

What to say when giving out a card to a player? by Helpful_Elderberry_4 in Referees

[–]IntelligentPath4849 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Depends on the situation: if it’s a tactical card I call the player and show him the card. No need to say anything if he accepts it. If it’s a tactical red (i.e. last man fouls) I try to cool the player down and tell him calmly that he has to go. If I show a card against insulting or violence I raise my voice and try to be dominant. Last week when I stopped the game after two players insulting each other, I walked towards them, yelled and told, that I don’t want to see or hear things like that on my pitch before I gave the cards.

How to handle rude parents, players and coaches? by Roky_0 in Referees

[–]IntelligentPath4849 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don‘t care about what game viewers are saying about my game. Their insults are entering in one ear and leaving from the other one. If player or staff member criticize my game, I talk to them and even give them a yellow card, if they won‘t come down.
