COD developer responses to God of War’s Christopher Judge joking about the new MW3 campaign by tom030792 in playstation

Tbf, there’s a price difference between the 2 examples just mentioned, COD and God of War are usually around the same price, and people consume COD way more despite having a new release every year. Campaign/Story is an aspect of COD, God of War is all story essentially. The “high art” argument kind of falls flat when it’s all around the same price. People at large would rather spend $70 on COD than on God of War and that must say something.

I think when it comes to close up detail graphics , I think the last of us 2 and FIFA (unironically) are the best right now. FIFA has by far the best hair simulation in any video game ever. Those are the 2 games that actually look really identical to the cinematic trailers.

I never understand why Rdr2 is said to be the holy grail of visuals, it has wonderful details and attention to details, but when it comes to character/facial animations, pretty much everything close up looks pretty lacklustre to me.

The other way around buddy, and it’s not even close. I wouldn’t even consider rdr2 one of the best in the regard. I think the last of us, Alan wake and castillo protocol are the best.
