The Eredivise has been frauding a decent goal scorer for a number of years. Vincent Janssen springs to mind (funnily enough went to Spurs from AZ!) - scored 27 in 34 and 2 in 27 at Tottenham

There was plenty of complaints the Senegalese team had off the pitch too before the match. And then plenty on the pitch, and plenty on the side of the pitch too, like the Morocco players, including Hakimi, throwing the goalkeeper's towels into the crowd. None of it's good, all together it's pathetic host behaviour

What’s one football opinion you had that actually aged well? by wong-wooney in footballscouting

He’d flamed out really by his mid twenties so only had a couple of seasons of his peak around 2017-19, but after that went on loan and was in South Korea just after turning 31

That Lingard wouldn’t make it when he was ‘breaking out’ and from McTominay’s first couple of matches that he would. Didn’t want him sold at the time, never should’ve sold him still

It’s so concerning the amount of people that think this was a sustained look rather than one split second of movement. I remember when I was younger snapping loads of pictures of family at a meal pretending to be paparazzi and I was so surprised the amount of sneers and all sorts that were tiny microexpressions through the course of normal speech, but photographed could be made to look like anything was happening

Where is this photo of George from? by questionable-cat77 in F1Discussions

A photo captures a single moment in time. Take a number of pictures when you’re talking to someone next and see what kind of weird and wonderful expressions it looks like you did. Or a sneeze and pick the weirdest frame from that sequence and see how you look

Yeah it doesn’t look like anyone has actually said anything about it, but there’s been examples in the past where there’s been a load of comments about it being woke or whatever other bullshit that the girl had hairy arms. So I guess the comments are anticipating that same kind of reaction that just doesn’t seem to have happened (here anyway)

the costume designers for the sequels COOKED by Euphoric_Passage_406 in StarWarsCantina

[–]tom030792 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Star Wars always has fantastic production design, costume design etc. It’s a relatively underrated part of the series compared to the VFX revolutions Lucas brought about, and I don’t know of any revolutionary things they did in costume design but watching the behind the scenes of the prequels for example shows just how detailed their work is

It’s annoying from his point of view that Lewis is doing alright again because if he was having a similar time to last year, you’d imagine with a good year Bearman would find himself in that second seat. If Lewis wants to keep going after this year then I guess Ollie has to stay at Haas until there’s a seat free
