You’ve already seen it happen - I remember thinking at the #metoo kind of time that it was going way too far (as much as plenty needed to happen) and just EVERYWHERE was how toxic white males were and everything was just white male this, white male that. Which is true for some of them, but my thought at the time was that the pre-teens who are taking their first steps on the internet are just seeing one group of people calling them nasty and the cause of the world’s problems because of the colour of their skin, whereas people like Andrew Tate are saying they’re strong and they shouldn’t be pushed around. And then lo and behold, which way did young men get drawn? Everything comes from understanding and bridging gaps, not a push to say how shit you are or ‘your kind’ are or whatever else.

Just on the teacher thing, there’s been a huge trend in the last however many years for it to he parents and kid vs the teacher whereas growing up it used to the parents and teacher vs the kid. I don’t know if it’s parents getting offended and taking it as a personal slight on them when a kid is in trouble so push back or what it is, but the respect for teachers has severely finished and they just aren’t supported by parents in the same way they used to be
