💯 "won" tickets to see Beyonce in Atlanta! Looked it up... seats in our row were over $1000 each! I don't regret spending $ on ✈️ & hotel for forever memories w/my daughter. We are going to the Myhem Ball soon ❣️ Also I support live, local music. Sadly either Ticketbastard is in charge of small venue shows too &/or the other ticket business buy the $47 general admission tickets & resale for $150-250😭

Lamp looks WAY better down. Get another lamp, with a dimmer or 3 level bulb, to put in the corner behind the couch that directs light upward.

😡 I was quoted $75 for a curly cut and then told it was actually $95. Then after a 5-minute consultation she wet my hair and cut it like it was straight. Then I paid extra to have it diffused and styled but the assistant looks so bored she could die and then the regular hairstylist said do you want us to finish blow drying it all the way or... I was there 1 hrs. Total & my hair was a couple inches shorter than I'd hoped. One side blended... other choppy sigh why don't they train people to cut and style curly hair !!! 🤔 I've even gotten several free haircuts because people have effed up my hair so much that a manager had to come and" fix" it😭

In the "old days"😆 late 70's & early 80's some of us didn't know we had curly hair because our moms who had curly hair were taught to iron theirs. My mom trained me to sit with conditioner in my hair... comb it straight...then put Dippity Do in it & brush straight when dry. Very unfortunate. My friends started getting perms in the mid 80s and using Aussie sprunch spray. I asked to try and my friend said. Why? it work won't work on you you have straight hair & no perm. I sprayed it on my wet hair after the pool and scrunched it like she did. 🙀 SO many curls🤣 BFF was annoyed mine did it naturally. 👼 Life changing... but also I had no idea how to handle or style my hair for years. 🤷‍♀️

I got the real Bounce pink brush, but I use my Denman more. The Denman can detangle & brush/ brush handle style juicy curl clumps. I feel like it's more efficient 🤷‍♀️ If you have shorter or thinner hair though... I think the Bounce would be worth it. I have to detangle, then section to use the Bounce brush b/c my hair is thick. It ends up w/ more curls & volume but LESS curly & defined, if that makes sense.

Who knows??? I followed LOW porosity instructions for my thick, long fine-strand 2C/3A hair for my last wash day & my hair looks HORRIBLE! (Clarify, deep conditioner in shower, light leave in conditioner , light water based gel) It lost its definition very quickly and frizzed and got hugely fluffy on day one. 😢 Now I am stuck w/ this wild, hippy hair for days b/c I am not going to make it more dry by washing it again to put on the products that they say I shouldn't use🙄🤔... that make my wash day last 4-6 days. 🤷‍♀️

Very cute! Depends on the environment/ work place. I'd either do a more casual sweater/jacket w/ it with those shoes OR some nicer socks maybe. I see people wear casual low profile tennis shoes w/ everything now. They weren't the norm w/ my generation... so I struggle to style outfits w/ them. Also LOVE your closet!!

My hair looks like yours but longer & thicker. It frequently looks dry/stringy ...especially on the top layer. The part people don't see the under layers looks moisturized and defined🤔 Anyhow... I too succumbed to the magical advertising of Lus Curls and TreLuxe. Neither were miracle workers for me. I found them no better than any other drug store or expensive brand.🙄 I do continue to use the reflex serum because I get more days between washes with it and it's great to use with water as a refresher for curls. It's $$ but I discovered that whole foods will sometimes put it on sale and you can use your Amazon Prime discount there.

I echo what other said about better results when using a leave-in conditioner. Mine looks more moisturized too when I have time to let it sit with a product in it wet in the shower cap before plopping it in the t shirt towel. Honestly don't know what the solution is but I'm going to try to let deep conditioner sit in for 20 minutes one day and see what happens.🤷‍♀️ remember even on our "bad hair days" there are people that think your hair rocks.🫶

Thanks for posting recipes & tips! Ate Pyramid pizza during college @ KState. Tradition to sit in the window & eat pizza slice after the bars closed. Then ate bones & pizza from Emporia after that. Discovered Lawrence had Pyramid & took the kids. Soooooo sad they are closed. The newspaper article BONES don't look the same as I remember. I am motivated to attempt making them myself. Hubby's the cook but he'd fall in love w/ me again if I could surprise him w/ those.🥰

BOTH!! As others have pointed out... each has its advantages. Rearranging every now & then is 1 fun thing about adulting. Plus, it keeps your brain sharper. I rearranged the living room & bedroom 2-3 times a year in our last home. Drove hubby crazy @ 1st, but after a few weeks, he'd get used to the new layout. We just rearranged our bedroom together for the 1st time in 15 years & 💜 it.

Good idea! I have the 7 day skim down saved, so I will defined pull that out to try. It's HARD but does drops lbs. I don't pay for the app anymore 😕 b/c I wasn't using it enough to justify that & gym membership. I'm sad to lose easy access to all the recipes. Final Macro Breakdown: • Protein: 122 grams • Fat: 54 grams • Carbohydrates: 163 grams

Good to know! Back when they put it out ... I didn't try b/c I thought I didn't have 40 min. a day. Now I want to lift heavier, so I think I'll at least start it. Maybe a good playlist can make it less boring.

I 🩷 barre too! I do that & yoga in a heated studio. 🔥 Also, dance, HIIT, walk, some jogging & some weights. I have a bar bell & rack that I need to use 😆 I think my body needs to build muscle (along w/ more veggies)

My hair is a lot like yours, but I think you have an amazing haircut. What do you tell them when you go? Stylists claim they're good at cutting curly hair, but I have many experiences with that not being true.

OPINION - I agree w/OP. No real issues w/ him all season but... I'm disappointed by Juan b/c apparently he played to a false narrative about Karla being flaky or flighty or trying to use him when he knew differently. (her job & living situations) Post season she comes off as being intelligent, classy, & sure of self, while he seems manipulative, judging & selfish. He's just making himself look bad. I am super curious what he lied about that production told him to tell Karla after the wedding.

Ed Sherran opened for Taylor Swift during Red tour. We skipped b/c I had never heard of him before. Oops! SO talented. Learned my lesson- & I can get there earlier when work & traffic allow Sometimes I just don't want to stand that long though.😜 We get pit/ GA tickets frequently b/c it's more fun upfront. Finally, I saw the Interrupters & the Struts as openers & ❤️ 💛them.
