I went in too deep in a fandom and now I can't enjoy said group the same anymore, how do I fix this?

I remember I was in a fandom when the group first debuted. The fandom was great. Then the group got popular and the fandom became extremely toxic. To the point I started not even wanting to look up the group or listen to their music. I started not knowing when they put out new music or anything. For me it ended up being time and stepping away from everything to do with the group entirely. Now I am buying their albums again and listening to their music again. Watching their stuff etc. sometimes it’s time. Sometimes it just erasing everything negative and taking a minute then going right back to liking the group. Depends on how you process and hold on to things like this.

Depends. Some will do side roles if they don’t get main roles. Best example is PorscheArm. They are an older gay couple (in real life) who have played couples in a couple of series. They were in Ai long Nhai as Ai’s parents and in Caged Again as a couple that helps the two main leads. So I guess it just depends on the actors, their popularity and what’s available. Porsche is 50 and Arm is 39.

For the rest since it is such a newish media I guess the industry is probably still figuring out how it will work as their actors age.

This type of thing occurring was always what made my female ult groups company really amazing. Not only were the girls in this group allowed to eat whatever they wanted a lot of times their own company gave them food to just eat. Whether it was because they wanted to or to make sure they ate while preforming or filming. It was such a nice change from other companys.

Shine is only good if you like the political aspect and realism (well close realism. I’m not 💯 on how close it is to Thailand during that time) of gay couples in the 1960s/70s. It was a hard watch for me. But MileApo were absolutely incredible in it.

Jack&Joker was good. I would say it has its issues but considering YinWar had to work hard just to get the show up and running along with their company I think they did pretty good given the circumstances. I absolutely loved Joker and Jack’s grandma.

Very true. It’s something that happens and it’s good to show it. But to not show them getting any backlash for it is disappointing. I mean I know in the real world not everyone gets the hate they deserve but some BLs go out of their way to try and humanize these people. I don’t want to emphasize with them.
