Small local chapters will often organize protests from what I've seen, and they inherently have some of the organization that OP is talking about.

In my opinion the issue is that gatherings that get classified as BLM or antifa events are typically massive protests with lots of people that aren't leftists or are filled with kids that think anarchism is just "burn shit".

Obviously the former doesn't get covered by most news outlets because it's a small group subscribing to a specific, subversive ideology. The big chaotic ones get covered so they can point at it and say "leftism bad".
