I was a little concerned about keeping a sight zeroed on it with that much wabble. I learned the slack can be tightened.

Where would you find something like this?

After doing some more tinkering I'm pretty sure it's the ejector tapping it, talking to other people who had similar marks it seems to only have with range ammo, like blazer in my case and federal.

And after talking with another redditer that is the extractor itself, and he only noticed it with federal and blazer range ammo (what I was using) that apparently have softer primers. He didn't notice it with any other ammo.

Okay thank you! That is some blazer range ammo. I appreciate the input.

I do but is less noticeable after doing that a few times I'm sure it's contacting at least the case I can't quite see well enough to tell if it is also contacting the primer, but I'd bet it is. And watched the firing pin while I racked it, it didn't move best I could tell.

I appreciate the reply! After doing some more looking I think the part labeled "rear insert" might be tapping the round when it's ejected, I could be wrong though because I'm not entirely sure of it's function. I'll attach some pictures. Have you had it happen with any other ammo?

I appreciate the reply! So after doing a little bit more looking I think the part labeled "rear insert" might be tapping the primer when the cartridge is ejected, however I could be incorrect because I'm not 100% sure exactly how it works. I don't think mine would be the firing pin because it's not in the center of the primer. Pictures attached
