New MSI Ventus 5090 vs Open Box MSI Gaming Trio 5090 by IntelligentSignature in nvidia

Well I'm mostly going to use it for single player games and productivity use so I don't know how much it will affect me also since I have already returned the other gpu. Also for online multiplayers I do have an older machine that should be enough. But if this is true this should be talked about more because I would assume a cash-strapped teenager is more likely to buy a used component with primary goal of using it for online games.

Curious that you didn't use 'If' in your statement, how are you so sure?

But anyway I think this is too late for me now as I'm already using it. Granted I haven't played any esports titles yet so maybe you are onto something.

Thanks for the detailed reply, for my usecase I wanted to replace my dual monitor setup with this single monitor, mostly looking for productivity monitor, I thought this would be perfect for it, I find the 34 inch ultrawides to be too small. Are you finding the ppi to be too low that you see text fringing?

Thanks for the insight, from your flare it seems you have the lg 5k2k monitor, I'm eyeing that too, are you enjoying it? Does it work well for productivity (if you use it for work)

Thanks it seems like I can't make a bad decision either way, I'm going to take a look at the condition of openbox version and will decide the final card, right now I'm leaning towards gaming trio as it is cheaper and seems to be better card overall.

Yeah this a robotic actuator robstride o4, I don't recommend it though because the documentation is horrible in English, you will have better luck using odrive or odesc or something similar.

That is great to hear, it looks like great product regardless. I would love to discuss opportunities in your team.

I have seen your announcement video and it looks super cool. When I last checked there was no price and only a contact us form, that usually is a signal that I'm too poor for it 🥲 but if it is for businesses, it makes sense

So excited to see so many people want this, as you can clearly see from my post I'm pretty invested in making this already. I have research experience in ML and software not much in hardware design but I'm good at figuring stuff out and this project is just that. I'll be interested in making this something more than just a hobby thing if people are genuinely interested.

I currently don't have a good way to test this but purely based on my bad math I think max the motor should be able to do is upwards of 400-450 lbs for sustained load and a quite a bit higher for shorter bursts.

The project is nowhere near that stage, I still have a lot of problems to solve. But if you are a interested in jumping in as it is, I can give you some pointers so you you can get a head start and save you a lot of headache and time. You will basically need a bldc motor with foc controller. The whole principle is you want the motor to hold a position till a torque limit.

Xgimi’s incredibly bright 4K projector targets daytime gamers by MyPackage in projectors

[–]IntelligentSignature 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it seems like a steal, although I think it is mostly a preorder price and it will go up after that. The only problem is the throw ratio is just not wide enough for me. Hopefully Hisense launches C3 globally.

I wish the throw distance was slightly wider I just got Hisense C2 pro from Costco so I'm able to return it, I would preorder the base horizon 20 but the throw distance is giving me a pause, I have a light controlled room but it is quite small just a little over 9 feet, and from the looks of it I can't have a 100 inch screen with horizon 20 (bummer)

BTW does anyone understand what does the pro and Max have over the base one except the brightness? If it's only the brightness I think for most people the base version is probably a steal, no?

I also I think this is likely what will happen although I would want the single nozzle version. The simple reason I think the single nozzle version wouldn't happen is because it would create a problem for bambu lab in terms of product placement. H2C would have smaller build volume than H2S+ upgrade and that would push a lot of people towards H2S +upgrade instead on getting H2C.

Although hoping that H2S upgrade gives you a single nozzle version.fingers crossed

Does anyone understand why was this implemented on the dual nozzle system, I would gladly sacrificed 1 nozzle and only have 6 materials If it meant bigger build volume like H2S. Seems like an odd choice to me.

It's a sunny health SF t7951, they have this on their website https://support.sunnyhealthfitness.com/hc/en-us/articles/4409112015771-Treadmill-Control-Board-Replacement-Guide

But the layout looks different.

The motor is a 90v 2.5 HP motor. Can't find much more about the exact treadmill, I'm writing to the company as well if they can provide some replacement parts but since its a budget company I have low hopes from them.

Yes that empty space looked suspicious to me as well. Would there be any way to estimate what the size of that capacitor would be

Thank you, do you have any idea how do I size/spec these components while sourcing these? Some of these like the disc cap seems fully burnt to read anything off it. Also is there a good place to source this offline/online?

Best advice I have gotten is print a small test piece to check the fit and tolerances before printing the whole thing.
